A student-led community at ACS, united by a simple idea: understanding artificial intelligence is one of the most important skills of our generation — so let's learn it together, and use it well.
Bringing AI to ACS — in theory and in practice
Our mission is to bring AI to ACS both in theory and in practice. We aim to learn collectively about AI and its applications, promote responsible and informed use by raising awareness about issues such as hallucinations and bias, serve the ACS community, and eventually use what we learn to develop meaningful projects.
We are a student society founded by students who want a dedicated space at ACS to understand where technology is heading — not just as users of AI, but as thoughtful, informed and responsible ones.
No AI knowledge. No programming experience. Just curiosity.
This is the most important invitation of the club. You do not need to have coded before. You do not need to know what a model is. If you want to learn, you belong here.
Complete beginners are welcome. We start from first principles and learn collectively.
Experienced programmers are welcome too — and they help beginners, rather than leaving anyone behind.
Curiosity and a willingness to learn matter more than prior experience. Learn. Build. Serve.

Curiosity First
We believe the best way to understand AI is to explore it openly — asking questions, testing tools and learning from mistakes. No background is required.
Responsible Use
AI can be wrong. We learn to recognize hallucinations and bias, and to treat AI output critically rather than blindly.
Open to Everyone
Complete beginners and experienced programmers learn side by side. Those further along help those just starting. Everyone learns collectively.
Learning by Building
Theory matters, but so does practice. We want to apply what we learn to something genuinely useful for ACS. Learn. Build. Serve.
